Privacy policy

Last updated October 2026

UWRH Digital (“I”, “we”) is an independent web design studio based in Co. Kildare, Ireland. This policy explains what information is collected through this website and when you work with the studio, and what happens to it.

When you send an enquiry

The Start Your Website form asks for your business name, email address, your current website (optional) and a short description of your website. That’s all. This information is used only to reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.

When you submit the form, your answers are received and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify (using its Netlify Forms service), and a notification is sent to the studio’s private inbox so I can reply. Submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond and are not used for anything else.

When you become a client

If you go ahead with a project, we’ll collect the information needed to build your website — business details, content, photos and similar — directly from you by email. If you pay by card, payment is handled by Stripe; card details are never seen or stored by UWRH Digital. See Stripe’s privacy policy.

Who we share it with

  • Netlify — hosts this website, and stores and forwards enquiry form submissions (Netlify screens submissions for spam using Akismet).
  • Stripe — processes card payments for accepted projects.
  • WordPress.com (Automattic) — some portfolio preview images are currently loaded from its screenshot service, which means your browser requests those images from its servers.

We don’t sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, and we don’t add you to marketing lists.

Cookies & tracking

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. The only thing it stores in your browser is a timestamp, saved for one minute after you send the enquiry form, to prevent accidental duplicate submissions; it isn’t used for tracking. Fonts are served from this website rather than from a third party.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up on your request. If you become a client, project information is kept for as long as needed to deliver and host your website, and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax and accounting records. You can ask for your information to be deleted sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under Irish and EU data protection law you can ask to see the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it’s used. To make a request, send a message through the Start Your Website form and say what it’s about, or use the email address in Business details. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Terms of service

Last updated October 2026

Prices & enquiries

The website build is a fixed €800 one-time price for the agreed website — it doesn’t change with the number of pages. Every new website includes managed hosting and care at €30 per month, billed monthly. All prices are the full price — no VAT is added on top. Sending an enquiry is free and doesn’t commit you to anything. What your website includes, the timeline and the payment terms are agreed in writing, and work begins only once you’ve decided to go ahead.

The project

We build the website agreed in writing. Work significantly beyond the agreed standard business website — for example complex custom features — is priced separately and agreed with you before any of it is done. UWRH Digital doesn’t build online shops, custom booking systems, payment processing or other custom software.

Accuracy of information

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the business information, images and text you provide — opening hours, prices, addresses and so on — and for having the right to use any images or content you supply.

Ownership & handover

After full payment, you own your completed website files. If you cancel managed hosting, you don’t lose your website: on request, you’ll receive portable website files and reasonable handover information so it can be moved to another provider. Anything else you receive, including any rights to designs, images, fonts or third-party tools, is set out in your written agreement. Licensed fonts, stock photography, domains and third-party services remain subject to their own terms and may not be transferable.

Managed hosting & care

Managed hosting and care is part of the standard arrangement for new websites. It costs €30 per month, billed monthly, and covers hosting your website on a secure (HTTPS) platform and agreed technical care. It doesn’t include content or design changes. You can cancel managed hosting and move your website to another provider; billing and notice arrangements are set out in your written agreement. Existing agreements continue on the terms already agreed.

Changes after launch

Content changes, new sections and pages, and redesigns are charged separately, using the published website editing prices or an individual quote for complex work. The scope and total price are confirmed with you before any chargeable work begins, and nothing is charged automatically. Corrections to mistakes in our own implementation are free.

Payments

Payment terms are agreed in writing before work starts. No payment is taken through this website.

Changes to these terms

These policies may be updated as the business evolves. The version agreed for your project is the one that applies to it.

Refunds & revisions

Last updated October 2026

Revisions

You’ll see a private preview before your site goes live and can request changes that refine the agreed design — layout tweaks, copy changes, image swaps, colour adjustments. The revisions included are agreed in writing before work starts. A genuinely different design direction is treated as new scope and priced separately.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancellation and refund terms for each project are set out in your written agreement before you pay anything, and take account of the work completed at the point of cancellation.

Managed hosting

How to cancel monthly hosting, when the service ends, and how your website is handed over are set out in your written agreement.

If you’re a consumer rather than a business, Irish and EU consumer law may give you additional rights, including a cooling-off period on some distance contracts. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
