Pub website design · Ireland
Pub websites that answer “are you open?” in a second.
Opening hours, food, what’s on and how to find you — clear on a phone, the way people actually check a pub. A custom pub website for €800, with managed hosting and care at €30/month.
What people check
Six things a pub website has to get right.
Most visits are quick and on a phone — someone deciding where to go tonight, or a visitor who’s never been. These come first.
Opening hours
Today’s hours at a glance, with food times, bank holidays and seasonal changes stated plainly.
Food & drink
A menu that reads well on a phone — as real text, not a blurry photo — and is easy to keep current.
Live music & events
Trad sessions, bands, quizzes and match nights, listed where people can actually find them.
Directions
Your address with a one-tap Google Maps link, plus parking or transport notes that genuinely help.
Click to call
A phone button that dials straight away — for table questions, function rooms and “are you showing the match?”
Bookings
A clear button to the reservation platform you already use. I don’t build custom booking systems.
Live music & events
What’s on, front and centre.
A good night of music is one of the best reasons to visit a pub — and one of the hardest things to find online when it’s buried in a Facebook feed.
- A simple “What’s on” list on the homepage, not three taps deep
- Regular nights shown once — “Trad every Thursday” — instead of re-posted every week
- Links to tickets or your Facebook events where you already use them
- New listings added for you — €10 per event

History & character
Show people what the place is really like.
People choose a pub for its feel as much as its taps. Your website is where that comes across before they walk in.
- Real photos of the bar, the snug, the beer garden and the food — not stock images
- A few honest lines on the pub’s history and who runs it today
- Function room, beer garden or sports information, if you have them
- A photo gallery that loads quickly on mobile data
Google Maps, Facebook and your own site
Why a website still matters when you’re on Maps and Facebook.
Keep your Google Business Profile and Facebook page — they’re important. A website works alongside them as the one place you fully control.
| Feature | Google Business Profile | Facebook page | Your own website |
|---|---|---|---|
| Opening hours | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Full food menu, easy to read | Limited | Usually photos or posts | Yes, as real text |
| Live music & events | Posts, which drop down over time | Yes, but buried in the feed | Yes, in one permanent place |
| Your own design and story | No | Limited | Yes |
| Works without an account or app | Yes | Not always | Yes |
| You control the layout and content | Partly | Partly | Yes |
The best setup links all three: your Google profile and Facebook page point to your website. Google Business Profile vs a website

Also running a restaurant or café? Restaurant website design
We already have a Facebook page. Do we need a website?
Facebook is good for news and photos, but posts get buried, some people don’t use it, and not everything is easy to find there. A website gives your hours, menu, what’s on and directions one permanent, fast home that Google can show — and your Facebook page and Google listing can both point to it.
How do we keep the music and events listings up to date?
Send me the new listings and they’re updated for you — adding an event listing is €10. If you already post events on Facebook or sell tickets through a platform, the site can link straight to it. View editing prices.
Can people book a table or the function room?
Yes — through a button to the reservation platform you already use, a click-to-call button, or both. I don’t build custom booking systems, so you keep the tools and process you already run.
How much does a website cost?
€800 one-time for your custom website — no packages, no page-count tiers. Every new website also includes managed hosting and care at €30/month, billed monthly. All prices are the full price — no VAT is added on top.
What does the €30/month cover?
Every new website includes managed hosting and care at €30/month, billed monthly. It covers hosting your website on a secure (HTTPS) platform and agreed technical care. It doesn’t include content or design changes — those are priced separately (view editing prices).
Do I own my website?
Yes. After full payment, you own your completed website files. If you ever cancel managed hosting, you don’t lose your website — on request, I’ll provide portable website files and reasonable handover information so you can move it to another host. Domains, third-party licences (such as fonts or stock photos) and hosting infrastructure can have their own ownership or transfer terms.
Can I cancel hosting and move my website?
Yes — you’re not locked in. You can cancel managed hosting, request your portable website files and move to another hosting provider, and I’ll provide reasonable handover information. Billing and notice details are set out in your written agreement.
We have an old website. Can you replace it and keep our domain?
Usually, yes. Your new website can go live on your existing domain once it’s ready. Who controls the domain and how it’s moved depends on where it’s registered, so we check that together before launch.
